Hoosier Horse Camp is my "home-away-from-home". The camp is well-run, clean, quiet and friendly with all the amenities. The sites are spacious, pull-throughs, and most have 2 covered stalls at the site. The screened restaurant provides tasty, plentiful food and is located in an open air pavilion rimmed with welcoming porch swings, great for relaxing with old or new friends. The trail systems in the Hoosier National Forest are easily accessed, well maintained, well marked and maps are readily available both in paper copies and on handy handkerchiefs designed by the Back Country Horsemen of Indiana. The trails have a variety of terrain and the scenery is beautiful.

Hoosier Horse Camp is by far the friendliest, well ran and maintained campground in southern Indiana. Easy access to the vast Hoosier National Forest. We’ve camped here for 21 years with the last 12 being seasonal. Good people, good food and good trails!

Just wanted you to know how much we enjoyed our stay. Your place is awesome! We will be back! We enjoyed the cafe, had breakfast Saturday morning. We took the horses over to the obstacle course, that was fun! (Quite an experience for my young horse!)

Hoosier horse camp is a favorite of ours, not only are you spoiled by the perfect camp sites and secure horse stalls on site or the barn but the trails are so well maintained and beautiful scenery! I highly recommend this place and appreciate the hard work Tim and Linda put into it!

Love camping at Hoosier Horse Camp, super nice owners, stalls are great and right next to your site where you can keep an eye on your horses. Shower house is large and always clean, and they serve food on the weekends. Trails are many and beautiful! Can’t wait to come back again in the Spring.

We love staying at Hoosier. We feel safe and respected. We describe it as elite, because of the way it is set up, the covered stalls next to your site, the clean toilets, the dump stations, and let's not forget the restaurant and swings to relax in. They enforce the rules for everyone's safety and comfort. You have to camp and ride there!

Hoosier Horse Camp is Great! Five Stars! The owners are super friendly, helpful and do an exceptionally nice job maintaining the horse camp. The lots are all nice and very easy to access. I love the pull in camp sites. Your water, electric and stalls are right at your camp and the shower and bath is clean and roomy. On the weekends during peak season they have the trail café open for campers and the food is very good; tip recommend the pizza and breakfast! Access to the Hoosier National Forest is easy and close and there are several trail heads located near the camp. Lastly, Linda, Tim and Emmi go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable even picking up the cell to help you navigate your way back to the correct trail when you get lost and calling your hubby letting him know well maybe you won’t be back to camp exactly at noon on Sunday as you got turned around on the trails.

Hoosier Horse Camp is AWESOME! I have a seasonal site and I love it! Easy access to all the trails in the forest, the campground is kept in great shape, they have pit toilets so you can camp all year long (we have camped Christmas and New Year's Eve), the owners are super nice and always ready to help and the people that camp there and the other seasonal campers are simply the best! I am so glad I am part of such a great place.
